2022 40 Under 40 Winners

While at Novant Health Foundation, Stephanie has successfully executed four system-wide appeals, targeting more than 100,000 active and lapsed donors and grateful patients, using the results to refine and build an efficient and effective annual giving program.

She led the creation, coordination and follow up of the Foundation’s presentation to medical center boards in all markets to advance philanthropic giving.

Stephanie is also a driving force behind the Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center’s Young Professionals Group, helping connect Charlotte-area young professionals with volunteer and philanthropic opportunities.

Stephanie earned her MBA from Johns Hopkins University. 

Kind of randomly! I applied for an events job with a large healthcare organization and loved it ever since!

Growing up I wanted to be a doctor but I was not cut out for that! Healthcare philanthropy allows me to still help physicians and patients from the background. 

I was involved with the dedication of a new hospital building years ago. It was a long and challenging process but turned out to be a wonderful event. That week solidified my desire to continue to work with donors and help them feel appreciated for their generosity. 

I love reading! Books provide you with a glimpse into different times, places and lives. I love to read about those other perspectives. 

Try to get involved with as much as you can. You never know when a chance encounter with a person, discussion about a project or lecture from a leader will shape your career.
